She gave us private lessons to begin with & then I thought some socialization would be a benefit so I signed us up for a six week course. Such good classes. Once that was done we signed up for a fun Trix Mix day. My Boxer Hector, and I have taken two classes under the instruction of Kiana Uhlmann and found her to be effective and creative in teaching corrections, responses, and behaviors. Hector is a very excitable dog, and while I have had many dogs in my life, this is a challenge I have not previously encountered. Kiana set up ways to expose him to a variety of stimulus and find ways to help him deal with stress. She has been very helpful, encouraging me to keep working toward solutions. Kiana’s quiet, patient approach encourages handler and dog alike. Hector continues to improve, the dog of my dreams in progress. Thank you so much for all the help Kiana. I so appreciate it.

I’ve had dogs in the past and thought I had a pretty good handle on dog training. I put Delphi in classes for her sake for socialization. Much to my surprise I discovered that there were some better ways to do the things I was doing “the hard way”. For one example, Kiana helped me teach “sit” and “down” more quickly and efficiently. I also had a private lesson specifically to get my car-shy girl to “load up”. She’s a Rough Collie, and lifting her in was getting a bit wearing She now hops in readily on her own!

We have finished our 4 week private lesson today and I am very happy what we have accomplished in that time. Kiana is very friendly, professional and happy to answer all my questions. She gave me a lot of confidence to trust my dog. Overall it was a great learning experience.

Highly recommended! This was a great training class for my large puppy and Kiana’s instructions and tips are excellent- covering all of the basics needed for a well-trained dog. My dog Louie loved the classes too! Classes moved at a steady pace; we learnt something new each week and then spent the rest of the week at home practicing and perfecting it. It was a great way to practice respectful interactions with other dogs too!

We just completed 4 weeks of private lessons with Pied Piper Dog Training and it was SO worth it. We adopted a 5 year old Husky Cross. (Who is very stubborn and independent!) & We were having a hard time teaching him to come when called and proper leash manners. These have improved drastically since starting this training. I also feel like we were given a lot of tools to strengthen these skills going forward as well! Thank you!
